How does the Beer Mile work? What's the registration process?
The Beer Mile challenges you to drink 4 beers and run a mile at the same time. You start in the Festival area, where you drink a 12-ounce beer and then run a quarter mile. Repeat 3 more times. This is designed as a two-person competition but you can do it on your own as a team of one.
Registration works like this. One of you signs up and creates a team. You pay the entire $140 entry fee when you do. If you compete alone, that's it. You're done. If you want a teammate to join you, they register and have the choice to select your team. When they do, it's no charge. Just make your friend pay you back!
